wiedergefunden: “Schlawiner”

Habe seit langem mal wieder dieses wunderbare Wort gehört: Schlawiner (spreche kaum Deutsch hier, aber ich hab’s gehört und habe mit einem “wow” reagiert…

Schlawiner ist eine saloppe Bezeichnung, die sowohl anerkennend als auch beleidigend gemeint sein kann:

  • ein pfiffiger, gerissener, lebhafter Mensch (oft auch ein solches Kind); Synonym: Schlingel, Schlack
  • ein gerissener Gauner
  • ein unzuverlässiger Mensch

let me explain… when someone does not have style… but you don’t wanna say that… not insult… just be honest… this sounds neutral 🙂

– something I really love are   words.
I like to play with words (duh, journalist) and finding old words again is also cool.
Yesterday I heard such a cool word:

… snazzy means “stylishly and often flashily attractive”. oh wow. pure awesomeness.

(snazzy bedeutet “schick” oder “todschick”)
