lemons…

I love lemons. Since my childhood I eat lots of them. Today I already had two, busy with the third one… plus, I also use it as decoration (someone gave me round about 50 the other day… nice for the living room 😉 x

picnics…

yesterday my whole company went for a huge picnic in the Company’s Gardens in  Cape Town. I just realized how much I love them – the picnics 😉  Desmond asked me to be his wife while we were on a picnic. We sometimes have picnics on Signal Hill or on the beach… Cape Town is full of spots. Happy Saturday. x

Papergirl from Germany – cool idea

Papergirl is an art project which, in the style of american paperboys, distributes rolled art pieces by bicycle to random passers-by in the streets. It consists of an exhibition, the action (distribution of the art) and a party.

The project was founded in Berlin by Aisha Ronniger and has been carried out once a year since 2006. Now Papergirl has spread and also took place in our City, Cape Town, this is a video clip of the first Ride day, 26th June 2010 in Woodstock, Cape Town.

Papergirl is, in short: participatory, analogue, non-commercial and impulsive.
